Maria grew up in Germany, then moved to the US in 2007 and lives in Brown Deer with her husband, one daughter, two dogs and two gerbils. Beginning 2015, Maria rediscovered her love for art and her desire to live a mindful, slow, meaningful life connected to nature and serving the greater good. Today she combines art and mindfulness in her art and also runs the Becoming Mindful Podcast about her and her friend’s journey to becoming more mindful. Maria wants her podcast and art to serve as a portal to mindfulness, tranquility, and the universal magic of nature for people that want to reconnect with their body and mind, find peace and contentment, and ease the stresses of daily life.
