Julie Casper enjoys a career in graphic design and began designing jewelry for many of the same reasons she was drawn into graphics — color, form and visual beauty. She studied graphic design at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has learned the metaphysical aspects of crystals and stones, the magic of metal forming and the nuances of jewelry design from many wonderful artists through workshops, videos and books, along with a lot of experimentation.
Julie’s jewelry business is called Bon Chance, and her jewelry features crystals and minerals believed to promote a more joyous, healthy and stress free life. All pieces are original designs that Julie creates in her home studio. The foundation for each piece is the gemstone it is designed around. The energy and personality of the stone inspires the design and each finished piece is packaged with an Inspiration Keeper that describes the intention of the piece and the metaphysical aspects of the stones that are featured in that creation.
